This is a painting I did more for a show...I teased that he owed me $4.16 at my price point of $50 per hour!
Painting the mane on the male lion in "Heart". My friends who had me do the painting wanted the whole thing to be just cool colors (blues, purples, greens. etc.), but from the very moment that they said what they wanted I always knew that the mane was going to be every color. I didn't even tell them! I knew it would be awesome, and it was, and best of all the LOVED it!
Having a little fun with some markers on an afternoon. I have my toddler son in my lap while I am drawing, and the speed it double time.
